We play PUBG a lot right? and we know that Erangel is the basic and most loved map of all time. But have you ever thought about what ERANGEL is based upon or what is the concept behind ERANGEl? or what the blue zone is and why does it causes damage to us? have a look below you'll find answers to all of these today!


PUBG's ERANGEL Map :PUBG's ERANGEL map was designed by Brendan Greene himself. ERANGEL's name is based upon an Irish word 'EIRINN' which means 'Ireland' or 'Irish'. Brendan has a daughter whose name is also 'Erin' thus the name Erangel was given to the map

To make the game more attractive a story related to Erangel was also made in the 'Battlegrounds Law'the story goes as follows:-
during the end of world war two there was an island (Erangel of course) which was captured by the Soviet army where the performed all the secret researches and all the chemical as well as the biological experiments later when the people of this Island attacked the soviet army the whole island turned into a genuine ruin!

That's the reason we see wrecked bus's, cars, ruined houses, machinery, military base and factories


 PUBG's Blue Zone :The blue zone as we all know goes on shrinking and gets every player closer to each other. The blue zone was programmed to be square in shape but as it was easily predictable and difficult to program it was later programmed to be in a circular shape

A lot of people have a wrong perception that the blue zone is a poisonous gas or an Energy Force but it actually is an electric field. When soviet army used to rule the island they used big machines to spread a high volt electric current into the ground to keep the intruders away. 

The blue zone in PUBG is that same electric field which cover the whole map gradually
